Tuition & Academic Fees:
Tuition & Academic Fees will bill to your IU Account in April and will be due in May.
Tuition & Fees for students enrolled after April will be due a month after enrollment.
Tuition and fees differ from course to course. For tuition and fee estimates, see the COSTS information on the webpage for your course (in the About the Workshop section at the bottom of each course page).
Housing Fees
Housing fees for on-campus students will be applied in June and due in July.
Fee Adjustments
Additional fees (extra days of housing, lost ID cards, parking tickets, etc.) may be applied to your account. They will be due in the month after they are applied.
NOTE: All fee quotes are estimates. Actual fees may differ.

If you received a scholarship or fellowship, your funding agreement will explain how and when your funds will be awarded.
If you are a current IUB student, then you already have an IU account and you do not need to obtain one. You are done with this step.
If you are a past IUB student or an IUB student graduating before the start of your Workshop courses, you will need to reactivate your IU account.
To do so, fill out the Returning Student form.
IU graduate students will be enrolled for graduate credit automatically if it is available for your courses.
(Graduate students receiving their degree before the Workshop begins should refer to the "Returning Student" section above.)
Non-IU graduate students desiring graduate credit should contact languageworkshop@iu.edu to set up a consultation to determine eligibility.

The process will be the same as for Non-IU students (above), with additional requirements in the FAMILY & RESIDENCY INFO section related to residency and visa.

If you are taking a Level One course (First Year), you do not need a placement exam. You may skip this step.
You must take a placement exam to ensure that you are in the course best suited to your current proficiency.
All Workshop students, including IU students, must complete the placement exam.
You will receive instructions in once you have an active IU ID number.
Once have an IU ID number and a Placement Exam result, you will be enrolled in your Workshop courses automatically.
You will be notified once you are enrolled.

If you need to withdraw from the Workshop
Early arrival for on-campus dorms is possible but is set up on a case-by-case basis. Contact languageworkshop@iu.edu to set up early arrival.
Late departure is not possible as there is a group arriving on campus immediately after the end of the Workshop. Plan to vacate your room no later than noon on the Saturday after the last day of the Workshop.
The Workshop will send you Housing enrollment forms after you are enrolled in your courses if you are studying in an on-campus immersion program.

The Workshop does not include a special meal plan, but students can set up standard IU meal plans.
