Dr. Sibel Crum is a faculty member at Indiana University’s Hamilton Lugar School of Global and International Studies in Bloomington, Indiana. She specializes in designing and delivering both residential and online courses on Turkish language and culture. Dr. Crum holds a Ph.D. in Second Language Education & Applied Linguistics from Indiana University’s School of Education. She is also pursuing a second Master's degree in Instructional Systems Technology, reflecting her interdisciplinary focus on technology-enhanced learning. Her research and publications explore the intersection of Human-AI collaboration, inclusive instructional design, and the application of emerging technologies to create immersive and adaptive environments for second language acquisition. Dr. Crum’s work also extends to STEM-integrated language pedagogy, addressing student recruitment, enrollment, and retention in higher education.
