Mohammad Khaksar is a Ph.D. student in Second Language Studies at Indiana University Bloomington. Originally from Shiraz, Iran, he holds an M.A. in Teaching English as a Foreign Language and a B.A. in English Language and Literature from Shiraz University. Mohammad has several years of experience teaching English in various contexts and currently serves as an Associate Instructor at Indiana University. He also supervises the Persian Conversation Table, facilitating discussions for learners of Persian. His research interests include second language acquisition in general, and the acquisition of Persian as a second language in specific. He is excited to work with students and help them explore the Persian language and culture at the Summer Language Workshop.
