Eric Connelly graduated from The Ohio State University with a B.A. in Russian and International Studies in 2014. He furthered his studies of critical languages and other fields by completing an M.A. in Slavic and East European Studies and a Master of Public Administration at OSU in 2018. He has incorporated his Russian language and area studies in his professional career in a variety of ways, including a year of teaching in Tyumen, Russia, as part of the Fulbright Program and additional time in Moscow facilitating the National Security Language Initiative for Youth Program. Eric has also taught Russian for the Center for Slavic, East European, and Eurasian Studies at OSU and developed cultural exchange programs for the Russian American Foundation. He now leads a team of Foreign Language-Enabled Research Analysts at Riverside Research, a nonprofit focused on the nation's security.
