Elena is a dedicated language educator with a rich academic background. She graduated from Moscow State University with a degree in literary editing, holds an MBA from the University of Utah, and recently completed an MA in Linguistics at IU. Currently pursuing her PhD, Elena enjoys both learning and teaching languages. She teaches first- and second-year Russian throughout the academic year and fifth-year Russian during the summer. Her research focuses on how students acquire new languages, with a strong belief that learning a foreign language enriches life, hones critical thinking and problem-solving skills, and offers profound insights into one's native language. For Elena, seeing her students achieve this is the most fulfilling aspect of teaching.
