Aida Vidan holds a Ph.D. in Slavic Languages and Literatures from Harvard University and is a specialist in South Slavic written and oral literatures, languages, and film. She teaches film, literary theory, and translation in the Department of International Literary and Cultural Studies at Tufts University. She has also served as a faculty member at Harvard University, University of Maryland and Boston University. She is the author/editor of four books, numerous articles, and several short and feature-length documentaries.
