Established in 2019, the summer Korean program is designed to develop students' linguistic competency and cultural literacy rapidly and effectively, through formal classroom instruction, extracurricular activities, extensive use of authentic materials, and real-time interactions with instructors and presenters from Korea.
Classes are conducted primarily in Korean and emphasize the development of real-time communication skills. Classes are divided into 2 parts: 2 hours a day of lessons conducted by a Lead Instructor, and 2 hours of skills training conducted by a Drill Instructor.
