Beginning in 2022, Workshop students of Chinese may supplement their studies with an online Chinese culture course. This course is designed to provide an understanding of Chinese culture, as well as strategies for living in and communicating effectively in China. The course provides an introduction to Chinese culture, including religion, history, popular music and cinema, sports, and cuisine. Students will learn about social customs through real-life scenarios and will connect with native speakers and with U.S. students who lived in China to learn about their experiences in the Chinese world.
