Beginning in 2021, Workshop students of Arabic may supplement their studies with an online Arab culture course. This course is designed to provide an understanding of Arab culture, as well as strategies for living in and communicating effectively in an Arab country. The course provides an introduction to Arab culture, including religion, history, popular music and cinema, sports, and cuisine. Students will learn about social customs through real-life scenarios and will connect with native speakers and with U.S. students who lived in Arab countries to learn about their experiences in the Arab world.
